I wanted to go from Texas to southern California and back but I dont want the hassle of going by airplane.

You can go by Greyhound but I would also recommend that you check with Amtrak at http://www.amtrak.com . It is much more relaxing. The Sunset Limited to L.A. runs 3 times a week and passes through Beaumont, Houston, San Antonio, Del Rio, Sanderson, Alpine, and El Paso.

You really really should fly. Its not a hassle and beats the snot outta da bus. You could also look at Amtrak - if they run to where you are going it would be faster than the bus.

well there is el paso limosine its bus company from los angeles to el pasp you also have amtak as welll
