YES! You are absolutely right! It is a privilege to play in the National Football League and Jones is no good role model. Honestly, as a player in the NFL, as a "celebrity," and as a human being, what Jones did in the offseason was inexcusable. And to add to that, that was not his first time. Allowing him to continue playing in the NFL would be rewarding him for his misbehavior. Someone needs to do something about him and I'm glad that Commissioner Roger Goodell is, by suspending him for an entire season. Well-known or hardly known, people still need to put the good of themselves, their sponsor (the NFL in Jones's case), and their nation and the good of its society before their own disapproved desires. Being a celebrity does give you absolute freedom. You are still a person like everyone else.

On a lighter and opposite note, search Yahoo! Answers for the question, "Name as many good-moralled NFL players as you can."

Pacman is a grown man that is responsible for his own decisions.
These players are adults living in an adult world, and NFL teams want the best players.
Do you really think there aren't other players doing alot of the same things Pacman is doing?
If you do, you are very naive.
Pacman keeps getting caught, that's his problem.
Most teams don't give a hoot about how these players act off the field if they don't get caught.
It's when they get caught and give the team / league a bad reputation is when they get suspended or punished.
If Pacman didn't play football, who would care what he does?

See ya Pac-Man. Good to hear you'll be eating PB&J sandwiches for a year. You represent not only yourself, your team, but the NFL. If you want to be a thug then when you get caught, pay the piper. Why try whining and trying to file a grievence. Been convicted- not yet. Hey, even if you haven't been convicted, what were you doing to even be mixed up in all of this mess? I've seen you play in person. For every big play you make the other team was sure to make one right back on you. I hope you get replaced by a rookie from GA.

I think the NFL should not get involved with punishing players unless it is substance abuse. Any other violations should fall under government law if it is not law abiding. It gets really annoying seeing the NFL waste there time with Mike Vick and Pacman all the time instead of telling us about football.

definitely, I mean the guys got his chance, and he screwed them up pretty much by himself. Whats his damn problem with strippers? Can he quietly gets one to go to his house or something. This guys got a lot of potential, a lot of talent and its really a shame to see such a young guy just throw away his chances in the NFL that he worked his whole life into getting. Damn Shame

he should be kicked out of the league for good. So should half the bengals team. But hey he did get suspended for the year and that could be a huge blow to him. Im now just waiting for the titans to actually dump him and everybody be afraid of signing him so he won't go anywhere. That would acutally be worse than him getting kicked out of the league..thats an ego blow
