The new map search does not list the right-hand navigation bar that shows businesses on the map. Why? How do I find local restaurants, hotels, golf courses?

on yahoo maps, the navigation bar left gives you those options. Its called smartview.

Go to Google Maps. Enter Las Vegas, Nevada. When you get the map click on "Find businesses" and enter "golf", "restaurants" etc. and complete the search. You should get an annotated list with the locations of the results clearly shown on the map .
