I heard people say the same thing about Bush 4 & 8 years ago.
We're still here.
Granted we came close to being a Christian Fascist Theocracy. But we're safe for the moment.
The problem is not individuals, many of the leadership of both parties are despicable people don't get me wrong.
The problem is systemic. Power resides on K Street not on Capitol Hill or on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Both the Clintons and the Bushes have been little more than prostitutes for these powerful interests. The Heritage Foundation, the AEI, and Georgetown Law School are holding the reigns of power and they are much more of a threat to this country than W or Hillary or any of the other front running stooges.
Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel and maybe Mike Bloomberg have an outside chance of injecting sanity into this race this time.
Hillary is no more a threat than Gulliani, McCain or Romney. All are weak willed cowards who bow down to beltway elitists and "experts."

Our great country will be around a long time. It is in a sad state at the moment--nothing that a little time and a little money will not fix. Hillary knows how to fix it.

im not saying she would be the best but let me tell you something. we have gas prices at an all time high food , trash , water , elect , ect are all going up. but our wages have not moved. we have no medical ins for thoes who are trying to work and make a living. if your not on welfare and your not loaded you cant even get sick. we have people who are deciding do we eat or do we buy our meds? we are at a stand still the ones who are on welfare cant get off because they cant make it and the ones who are trying to make it cant get any help not even a little. so you tell me where we are doing so great with what we have now????its pretty bad when people are dying from simple things like the flu and colds or cant detect cancer until its to late al because they cant go to a dr.

I thought the same thing when Bush got elected and we're still here. And, she hasn't been elected yet, so don't book your plane tickets.

As you know it. Yes. The land will still be here but Capitalism will be on its way out and thus your ability to have the opportunity to succeed or fail on your own merits.

true, and also if any neocon is elected. (Rudy, McCain, Thompson, Romney, etc)
If we had bush for 8 more years, it would also be the end of the country.
