It depends on how old you are. If you're still in your teens, then you will change and grow. You aren't stuck in this rut! If you're in your 20s or older and acting this way, seek help immediately before you hurt others.

I'm in a really sarcastic mood right now, but I'm going to give you a serious answer, as I feel we are kindred spirits.
I was in an extremely similar situation to yourself. I did not have a bad childhood, though my parents are divorced and we did have some financial instability in my early childhood. Still, I had a great childhood, and somehow I still managed to become psychologically imbalanced. I was always angry with everything, always depressed, easily enraged, constantly suffering from ennui.
The answer?
Change. You've already begun to seek it, which is the first step that many of the sheep that are humanity never take. Humans are cowards by birth, and only by seeking to improve yourself, will you ever truly become stronger.
What do you hate about something? Try to answer that question. If you can, isolate the source of your hatred and stop applying it to a general subject as a whole. If you can't find an answer, then you don't really hate it, you're just showering it with undue anger.
Find the source of the anger, and focus it where it's deserved.
Finally, seek self-improvement in other areas. Everyone has goals and dreams that they'd like to accomplish, no matter how far-fetched they may seem, or how deeply they may have buried them. Think of what your goals are, or try to remember them if you've forgotten them. Then start working to accomplish them.
All you have to do is start taking the steps. Once you're walking, the path will fall into place.

forget therapists that's for people who have time and money. You yourself have to analyze what has gone wrong, what made you that way because people don't become mean all of the sudden. I don't know your whole life story, so that's why i'm telling you to think about it really hard. It's all because of a reason, you must know what happened. Try talking to your family or someone who can listen to you and who cares about you. Try to see yourself from another angle. Fix what's wrong.
by the way what that guy said about the Buddha, try to talk to Buddhists they will be great help.
Please please don't take drugs. that will f**k you up bad. that should be the last thing you want to do.

Lack of passion is not your problem. From the tone of your question, you are passionate about a great deal. Do you trust yourself enough to find something to feel beyond the passion of hate? Yes -- you hurt yourself. Self is where it all began. You are not to blame, but you are responsible. Sounds to me as if you are already on your way to making changes.

You may suffer from any of a number of different personality disorders. I would suggest visit a psychiatrist affiliated with a local university or teaching hospital, because he/she will have the most resources at his/her disposal, and also be up-to-date on the latest research-based treatments.
Good luck, and God bless.
By the way there is hope, and help for people like yourself. You have already taken the first step in solving the problem: recognizing there IS a problem.

Wow, it seems like you have a lot going on here. If it is really as bad as you are making it seem, I think that you should see a phycologist. However, in the mean time try to imagine yourself in a postive way. Try to remember some good things that you have done in the past. Maybe you could join some charities to help you feel like you are doing something good for the community. Please, get some help before you do something really harmfull to yourself

Everybody must have a anchor in life. Something that give you strength and faith. Mine is The Lord and my guidance is the bible. Not even a psychiatrist could help you as much as prayer,
church and to believe in yourself. You have made a good start to realize you have a problem and you could work it easily out by yourself now.

Oh, I have just the same problem, well, my brain is screwed up and .. my family .. does not exist,
I hate also everybody, coz i know they sux, but I don't hurt myself...
You have no feelings, coz you didn't accept of learning and later giving them to others, when you were little little.
Ow well, maybe a psychologist can save you before you get really mad.
But I'm, allready lost... I can never love anybody.. I have Rage and Happiness left, when I'm not happy, people get hurt, like I give a damn.

Gina sounds to me like ur just a b_itch.I use to be like that til I found buddha and taught me how sad and ungrateful I can be. I look at third world countries and realize most children wont live past 9 yrs of age. Ur even lucky to be in a house to be asking this question while people are just trying to survive right now. Learning to hate other is learning to hate urself. Best thing right now is visit people who are less fortanate than you and c the harsh reality. Or talk to counsler

its all in your thinking, as thinking determines the way u feel and what u do. sometimes the process of confronting life and solving problems is a painful one. change your thought life, and how u see the world, sometimes when we can't love others it has alot to do with how we see god. our choices in life will determine what happens to us, our own perceptions determine the outcome of things. why not try some therapy theres no shame in it, it might give u some different ideas on life. its how u see yourself really, it may have alot to do with your own self worth.
