here are the steps; you do the math and get the values

1. Determine the moleculear weight of zinc pyrophosphate

2. Determine the % of Zn by weight in zinc pyrophosphate (which is 100 x Zinc's weight / zinc pyrophosphate weight

3. multiply the 30.5 g by the % Zn by weight (from # 2 above) this gives you the grams of Zn in the 30.5 g

4. divide the grams of Zn from # 3 by Zn moleculear weight; this gives you the # moles Zn

5. multiply the # moles Zn by 6.02x 10^23 and you have the number of Zn molecules which will be the number of Zn ions in solution
