For me, it's a comfort thing. I hate shoes, and don't wear them if I don't have to. In winter, I have to wear them, but stick to a pair of L. L. Bean's "Wicked Good Slippers" ;-)

I frequently walk around in socks or barefoot, yet i'm going to positioned on slippers if my ft are chilly or if i think like it. visitors do no longer positioned on shoes in our abode, the two, and we don't furnish slippers. i've got not at all experienced that earlier. i do no longer think i've got ever met anybody who wears their shoes interior the abode each and all of the time (except it relatively is for scientific motives). donning your exterior shoes indoors only gets the flooring grimy and brings in all varieties of disgusting stuff. I additionally don't understand desirous to positioned on shoes all day through fact I only locate that uncomfortable. My ft desire some freedom. i think shoe rules fluctuate from region to region. i've got not at all had a concern with the shoes-off coverage.

It's a comfort thing for me. I live in a very warm climate. Shoes just make my feet hot, so I never wear them at home. My floors are mopped and swiffered every night after my kids go to bed. The place is clean AND I like having naked feet.

both...But I hardly ever wear shoes here at my ranch. It's so much comfier just to run around the farm barefoot. And I'm so used to it that the rocks don't hurt my feet. Definitely though if I lived in a city I would wear shoes.
