Its been 9 days since we tried the first time, havent taken a test for that yet (3 days since we tried the second time). Is it too early to take a test reguarding the first try? Thanks!

Yes, you need to find out when you are ovulating and stop "trying" randomly. It will take you forever to get pregnant that way. Most women start having sex, every other day, on day 11 of their cycle until day 16 of their cycle. (The day you start your period is day 1). Your "fertile peak" should lie somewhere in those days. You need to wait 14 days after ovulation or until the first day of your missed period to take a pregnancy test.

(Having sex every other day instead of every day lets your hubby re-build his sperm count on his days off.)

Some early tests will detect it this early, but most will not. Wait a few more days and then test.

no, it's not too soon. read the box at the drugstore, it may not even be too soon for the second try!
