Jerseys, balls, home plates or bases, posters or pictures, or bats are all good items but to me the best would be a home plate, base, or even pitching rubber. It's a very unique item and the signatures add that much more to it. If it was me personally I would go for a signed base.

My personal opinion would be baseballs, followed by bats. You can get more signatures on a bat, but the ball just seems more personal. I don't worry about the price on an item like that either, I just like to have it. I don't collect to sell it for a higher price later.

I collect multiple signatures on a miniature sized home plate. They have baseball team logos on the border and the surface holds up nicely to sharpies, ball points and felt tips.

It can also be framed up in a shadow box, which enhances the autographs and makes it's value higher.
