They'll be great but not explosive. With Martz calling the plays the sky is the limit. their offense will be tough to stop. If there line holds up it could be one of the best in the league. but i am a long time lions fan and i have learned not to get my hopes up. knowing our luck we'll have another big pre season injury but the sky is the limit and the possibilities are endless

Contrary to what you say I think the line is mediocre at best. Kevin Jones has yet to show he is the player we'd though he'd be out of college. The WR's are pretty good with Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson but they don't have any depth for slot or tight end so those two will see alot of double teams. Plus the defense is awful except for Shaun Rogers and trading Dre Bley for Tatum Bell is one of the worst trades of this off season (for the Lions at least, Denver made out like a bandit). They'll need to score 35 points a game to cover what the D gives up and frankly I don't think Kitna has a chance to do that.

Stop them from what?
The buffet line?
Remember, this is the team that filed a grievance with the league because the coach was working them too hard in the off season.
I understand you are a Lion fan, and good luck, but until they get a GM that has half a brain or more, they are screwed.
Getting this group of selfish individuals to play as a team is no easy task.
Maybe the coaching staff can pull it off this year, but I'm not going to hold my breathe.
The players on the Lions are only interested in paychecks, not winning.
As long as that is the case, they will be a losing team.

They have a very talented offense with Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson but the potential of this offense relies on their Quarterback Play. The Lions Wide Outs are good but the wide receivers are good but if the quarterback cant get them the ball then they wont look good against a great corner like Champ Baily and will have a hard time against rookie corners like rookie Darrelle Revis.

I think Dallas could be an option, a lot of talent on that team especially including Nnamdi and you know he wants a ring near the end of the year. I'd love to take him off a division rival on Oakland and put him on my team, but we can't afford that contract and we already singed Sanders. The eagles could be a good fit, but I'd also doubt they would pay him and Assante knowing they'll both be done in a couple seasons.

Not if Kitna leads the league in picks again. The offense has a lot of weapons except for the qb position.
Hopefully Drew Stanton will get to play in the near future.

They are definantly on the rise with martz as the oc and all the talent at wr and rb. Weak spot at qb could hurt but i see the lions losing a lot of 31-28 games.

Stop the QB, you stop the wide outs. Their O-line is still their achilles heel. And without a good running attack, defenses will play the pass. 5-6 DBs will stop any group of WRs.

Why would this year be any different from any other. Yeah, they'll stink again. Until Millen is no longer GM they'll continue to stink. I loved him as a LB for Oakland but he's not a good GM.
