Yep, you can take Tylenol.
Congrats, and I'm six weeks pregnant and nobody knows, but me. (Not even the doctor)

Regular tylenol should be okay.

You should also find an OB/GYN and schedule an appointment as soon as you know or even think you are pregnant!!!!!!!!! This is very important!

Tylenol may not be okay if you have certain complications, but you will never know if you have any complications if a doctor does not monitor you for them!

Seek an OB/GYN immediately!

You can look one up in the phone book or call your regular family practitioner [doctor] and ask them for a listing in your area! You can call one and schedule an appointment and while you're on the phone you can also confirm if Tylenol is okay to take!

You can take Tylenol, yes but not ibuprofen like Advil or Motrin. However, my Dr and pharmacist suggest taking a nap and putting a wet rag on your forehead so that you can avoid taking anything in the 1st trimester.

Regular Tylenol is fine. Call the doctor on Monday, make that appointment.

Your local pharmacists should be able to answer that question....I can't remember. One phone call that can be made and you would be getting the info from a professional, not an unknown person.

Sorry to all of you that gave me thumbs down. Didn't mean to offend anyone, especially the the person asking. Just seemed like a good suggestion. My kids are older, so I cant remember what you can and cannot take while pregnant and I wouldn't want to suggest something that could harmful to the mother or baby! I was JUST trying to help! The reason I call my pharmacist when I have drug related questions, is because they are way easier to get a hold of then paging a dr. and they know a lot!

Yes, Tylenol (acetaminophen) is considered to be a safe medication to take throughout pregnancy.

Not aspirin, not ibuprophen (Advil, Motrin)

Tylenol (Acetaminophen) is safe for use during pregnancy, as long as you use it only when absolutely needed.
