yes, as they say, you can't judge a book by its cover

Yes, most definitely. People are generally way more complex than a first glance. It's just a first look, a glimpse, the first layer. We have so many layers to unfold that sometimes you can know a person for years, and still not really know them. So to answer your question, yes, I as well as others are more than what immediately meets the eye. It takes time to uncover the layers . . .

Interesting question of perception. I would naturally say that there is more to me than immediately meets the eye, because I'm locked inside my head the entire time, and so am privy to the whole mental and emotional tapestry that gives me my beliefs and motivations, the backstory that makes me who I am and makes me act the way I do. But is there more to me from someone else's point of view? Only, I suppose, if they have repeated interactions with me, and so learn a little more of my backstory as they go. Otherwise, is there more to me? Probably not, from their point of view.

There's more to practically everyone than what meets the eye. Except for Brooke Hogan...she's as slutty as the way she dresses. And Britney Spears...yes she's that crazy.

My, yes! I'm grateful for those that try to get to know me better and allow me to get to know them. Not true with everyone. A lot of people "what you see is what you get!" and is usually someone loud, boisterous and egotistical!
And the thing is, if there is a deeper side to them, they don't allow anyone to see it let alone take the time to find it.

Yeah, Absolutely!
I think a person should always get to know someone before passing jugement based on looks alone. I feel that I am more that just my outside...
