It was already clear his hiting coach gave him some "cream" that was some type of steroids. But I don't think they ever cleared his homerun score. Why dont they?

Barry wasn't found guilty of anything and the Clear and the Cream weren't technically banned substances. Baseball doesn't want to aggressively prosecute or erase records because they don't want to know how many players have used steroids. I have a feeling that lots of them have and some still do. What do you think would happen to baseball if we found out that 10% of players have juiced? 20%?

Look at the Bay Area steroid connection and you'll find alot of homerun hitters in those degrees of seperation. Canseco went to Texas and played with Palmiero, Juan Gonzalez, A-Rod and possibly, Grimsley. Mathews Jr. played there too. In Oakland, Canseco played with McGwire who played with Giambi. There were I-Rod and Tejada rumors too and it wouldn't surprise me if they all did it.
And I'm not buying that neck-size arguement. Most players get bigger. Look at old Griffey or A-Rod footage and you'll notice they have larger hats AND belts.
Barry was great for baseball. How many people watched when he broke the record? Besides, his homerun records will be broken one day so let him have his sunshine.
This issue can kill baseball.

Hey, the final scores of Games 1, 2, 4, and 5 of the 1919 World Series are still on the books, and we KNOW those games were thrown.

What happened on the field, stays happened. Regardless of whatever Chemicals X Bonds may have used to play better and win more, or Giambi may have used to try to win MVP Awards, or Griffey may have used poorly and screwed up his entire physiology for years, isn't factored into the scoresheets. Make notations all you want, but what happened, stays happened forever (with the one small loophole of correcting clerical errors, which is proper).

Because their were a lot of baseball players that took steroids and didn't come close to accomplishing what Barry Bonds did. For instance, look at Jason Giambi, he took steroids and his numbers cant compare to bonds. With or without steroids Barry Bonds is the best hitter baseball has ever seen

there has never been proof EVER, also do u have any idea how many homeruns 740 plus is? or how many gold gloves and 7 time MVP means, getoff your soapbox, BB is a great player, why not investigate the pitchers for the last 7 decades that admitted doctering the ball! if u dig deep enough you will find out tons of crap going on in pro sports, not just some dumb steroid gossip

No proof, no guilty. That is the law. He is most attacked because he is black. Being black or latino make them more vulnerable to being acused.

Why has nobody said about deleting the numbers of, Giambi, MacGwire, and Schilling. They are white, and said to use stereoids. And MacGwire said "I don't wanna talk about the past" when he was in front of congress.

yes he may have used stroids, but i read in the newspaper a while ago that even though he has all those high homers, he still uses a wooden bat. Wooden bats are harder to get homers off of than metal bats, which many players use. So that is still something good that he has done, which is sticking with traditional wooden bats.

ALL professional athletes are using steroids. All of them. Do you really believe that that bicycle Landis guy didn't? Oh PLEASE. We love women with fake boobs, actors with fake teeth, wrestlers and a California Governor who are steroid poster children. It is the morons that have no life of their own and watch for hours these athletes play children's games that encourage this stupidity.
