fish don't actually sleep they relax, like a yoga session but standing still. you still see them move around with a current but they are "asleep". if you turn your light on they will wake up immediately :) due to theres nothing to protect there eyes , like a peco has a tiny skin on his eye during day time its on his eye like a pirate patch and during the night it raises it up and has better night vision :) hope it helps

Fish do not sleep, they just take little rests. Fish need to keep water flowing over their gills so most always have to keep moving. They don't sleep.

They dont sleep. If you look at your tank at night you will see the fish lying on the bottom as if there dead, But there not, there resting.
