As you can guess, I'm a person who doesn't drink. I just never thought getting drunk was fun, so I chose otherwise. Fortunately, my friends who do drink never pressured me, and we still end up having lots of fun. Recently, some of my friends have started going out to nightclubs and have asked me to go along with them. I’m not really sure whether to go or not. I love to dance and have fun, but I don’t drink, and the latter kind of runs against the norm at a club. Any ideas? Can a guy find a girl who doesn’t drink at a club, or are most people totally blasted?

You can probably find someone who doesn't care to drink also. It might take a while.
watch out for one thing; it's no fun hanging out with drunks when you are sober. Maybe you'll have a few laughs, but it gets annoying. Good luck

Yeah you can go clubbing and not drink. Just order a coke or coffee instead of a drink.
Here is a hint Happy Hour at a club which has a mini buffet which is free. A lot of girls will be there mainly just to eat. A lot of girls will order drinks and just sip them. Watch the ladies and see which ones are the sippers and which ones are the sluggers. Stay away from the sluggers unless you like dealing with women who are crawling in their puke commode hugging drunk.

Just make sure you are in a good mood and can tolerate crowds of drunk people in a confined space. I have been a designated driver many times and have had a lot of fun.
Do you like to dance? Dancing can give you a "buzz" of its own...sort of like a runner's "high". Go out and have some fun...and you won't even have to deal with a hangover in the morning so you will be a step ahead of your friends.

I used to go clubbing and dancing all the time and not drink. You can always nurse a 7-up or coke as I did.

Clubs arent always filled with drunk people. They are alot of girls at clubs that just wanna hang out with their friends and dance.

Sure you can. Offer to be the designated driver for your friends so if they choose to drink they won't drive drunk and enjoy a coke or pop.

I dont go clubbing, so I wouldn't know. but keep that positive attitude of not wanting to get drunk!
noone wants to be a drunk @ss!
for now, drink lemonade, soda, or maybe even water! can't go wrong with pure water

go for it you will have just as much fun as they will. I use to go before I got married, and i too do not like to drink. I loved go because I loved to dance and I had just as much fun as my friends.
