In my opinion, do dry runs against the elite four. Just go in there and see how far can you go without using any potions / revives. You only lose like 5 k around level 45. I beat them at lv 51.

Well this is how i beat the elite four... and i went kinda broke after this hehe
ok
i bought tons of revives and i just took my time healin my pokemon durin battle and attackin
oh ya
traain at like iron island
or use the vs seeker and reverse strong trainers

train your pokemon around level 60 - 70. when i went up against those bitches, i got killed

try iron island i ran into steelix there and you can train pokemon there
