Do you have to be a rude jerk to be a Democrat? What kind of insensitive person makes fun of people with...?

Alzheimer's? My opinion, it is the kind of person who is the lowest of the low.

I am amused that many refused to answer my question and instead tried to turn the topic to Rush Limbaugh, another jerk I loathe.

Absolutely correct!!! But I guess there are some that make fun of Alzhemiers on the democrat side just like there are some who make fun of parkinson diese on the Republican side. Let's say saying like their are faking tremors ect. When a person lives with person who has parkinson and alzhemiers then they truely know what those illness do to a person. How crippling they are and how they become former shadows of who they once were.
Many people with parkinson end up with Alzheimers.

The questioner has change some of the question. However reading the answers below would let one know what has been edited or deleted.

The point is that their are people who belong to either party, who are rude and ignorant and make fun of a persons illness, it's not just the democrats, there are republicans who do it too.
Mostly a very few on either side. So to say one has to be rude to be a democrat would be an incorrect statement.

Hardly has to do with being a democrat. It's not a quality that any group has a monopoly on.

We're Americans, we make fun of everything, everyone.

However, that doesn't mean it isn't rude, acting like a jerk, etc. It can be both, either, or neither.

My sympathy for the person you refer to. I encourage you to say what is most important to you against people who insult thinking it's "funny" (insulting humor and rude insulting are two different things).

I'm a democrat. But first and foremost, I'm a patriot. Keep speaking up.

I don't know - the same kind of person (Rush Limbaugh) who would mock and insult a man with Parkinsons.

I don't know - the same kind of person who calls Chelsea Clinton a dog when she was still a teenager (Rush Limbaugh) or the same kind of person who said Chelsea's Father was Janet Reno....

Pretty funny, since the idea of public funding for research to cure Alzheimer's is a liberal idea. Pretty funny, since Nancy Reagan broke with Bush over his despicable stand on stem cell research. Pretty funny. I suppose when republicans vote to give billions to Halliburton and cut funds for health care for children, it's just because they are so darned sensitive.

Oh, and all those republicans who call dead Iraqi children 'collateral damage' - that sensitivity move you?

Liberals and Democrats feel they are justified in belittling any person who does not think the way they do. They dehumanize every Republican, every conservative, and every Christian as being stupid, mentally unfit or a dupe of big business. No, when your a Rep. you have to be so insensitive you won't even allow citizens health care or CURE illness via stem cells. Stem cells don't have to come via abortion? Did you know that.
