Well, first you understand that it's not perfect, but I will venter to say that it's probably the best dang thing out there. I do think that lasting happiness (not fleeting fun) is found in a committed, loving, family life.
How do you get it? Live for it. I don't mean be obsesive, but plan your life that way. Promise yourself now, you won't "shack up" and do the pretend family thing, promise yourself now that when you date, you'll be looking for more than infatuation, but you'll be looking for quieter, more satisfying love, and the kind of man that you know will be a good husband and father.
Be the kind of woman now, that believes in marriage, that is willing to work at it.
The home? That comes with wise financial planing. Again live for it. Start now by learning wise financial managment.

first of all, you have to find a husband or you should. secondly,theres no such thing as "that perfect little life". nothings perfect. you look at people and their lives and you think you would like to have their life but everybody has problems.you just have to work on yours.

A prayer life is essencial first. Live right before God and put him first, let him know what your needs are in detail, I asked for a funny husband and other details from there. Go about getting your eeducation, include worship, voluteering in your community and hold your head high, cause your about to be blessed beyond your wildest dreams!

If that's what you want, make sure that is the goals of the guy you are dating. Then you can work together to make it happen. Also realize that this life is harder than it looks.

Save your money DAILY.
Talk to your kids DAILY.
Work on your relationship DAILY.
Perfect like is not given out its made and need DAILY maintenance.

easy....stop looking for perfection...it doesn't exisit. You can have a reasonably happy marriage with a guy who will sometimes let you down & kids who will drive you nuts occasionally...that is much easier to come up with...

There is no perfect life. As long as you are human and you marry a human and your children are human you will never attain perfecton. Humans are not perfect.
