Like Fatty said, sumida (feminine) and sumido (masculine) is the past participle of the verb sumir, that means disappear, vanish. But his example "Estou sumida esta semana" is not idiomatic, a Brazilian wouldn't say this in the sense of I'm away this week. A Brazilian would probably say Esta semana estou fora.
We use sumido or sumida in a very informal way to say you haven't seen someone lately or for a good time. For example, if you haven't seen Ana for a good time you'd say Ana anda sumida, or Ana está sumida, and this means I haven't seen Ana lately.
The verb sumir is kinda informal, a more formal verb is desaparecer, which also means disappear.

It means "disappeared" (past participle of the verb 'sumir')
an example is "estou sumida esta semana" which means like 'i am away/out of the picture this week'..
you use sumida when you want to say you or someone else is away or disappeared (ela sumiu or ela ta sumida)

When you haven't seen a person for a long time and this person appears, you say "Sumida" (female): You disappeared.

Well, there are two explanations:
1 - It's the same thing that "missed" and alike;
2 - It's a joke. That means one "big dick" as well. Like, you have left one big dick -> Você levou uma "sumida" grande.
