The Sandlot was a lot of fun, especially for baseball fans. Some of it is a bit silly, but so what? It's very entertaining. Having James Earl Jones in it was a delight -- he just nailed his small part.
"George signed this? I take it back -- you're not in trouble. You're dead where you stand."
Think I'll pull it out and watch it this weekend.

Great movie with a good story line. I especially like the scenes where they are dealing with Goliath, the dog. Reminded me of my childhood days. James Earl Jones does a great job in that movie as well.
McCauley Culkin was not in this movie. He is thinking of someone else. His bad.

Hated it. Easily the worst of the 90s baseball movies targeted at kids. Little Big League is much better.

I thought it was good. McCauley Culkin always makes good movies. That guy who is on Crossing Jordan now played the fat kid, Lardo or something like that.
