obediently followed the officer
because I was there to follow through on a domestic violence complaint and the officers didn't want to chance us going at it in the police station. I filed charges, signed the complaint, and was free to go. The marks took two weeks to heal and that was without struggling--God knows what it does to someone fighting to get free.
