I just recently started rereading the 6th book in an attmept to refresh my memory and I came across the chapter where they talk about Marvelo...I just cant seem to remember them mentioning him well. In What book and chapter was he first mentioned

Marvolo is Tom Riddle's middle name. When Harry sees Tom's memories in Chamber of Secrets, Tom tells Headmaster Dippet that his middle name is Marvolo, named after his grandfather.

It's also mentioned other times: in the chamber of secrets, Tom wrote his full name, Tom Marvolo Riddle, in the air and rearranged the letters to spell "I am Lord Voldemort"

if i'm not mistaken it was first mentioned in book 2 but i think it talks more about it in half blood prince when dumbledore took harry to his past memory...
