who else gets made when polititians and pro-lifers (supporting the death penalty) try to tell women what they should not do with their bodies?

i'm not pregnant, thank you, but i was just angered by Mitt Romney's statement that he would overturn Roe vs. Wade. It's none of his buisiness.

It isn't just a matter of what you do with your body, if you are pregnant you are carrying a preborn human being. There is no question biologically that before you even know you are pregnant, cells are multiplying and there is life.
The question is, does anyone, the government or any individual have the 'right' to tell you what to do in any area of your life.
Many of us who you would call pro-life are also pro-choice. We just hope you choose life
Being pro life and also 'for' the death penalty on the surface seem the same issue, or at least closely related, but if you are intellectually honest about it, they really are two issues,

As it happens I'm both pro-life and anti-death penalty. I think the two are separate arguments. To believe that an unborn child should be allowed a chance at life is a valid view to hold, just as valid as arguing that a woman should have the right to abort a fetus.
It is also valid to believe that someone duly convicted of the most serious cases of first degree murder should be put to death.
There is no conflict in holding both views. In the first case, the holder of the belief seeks to give an innocent child a chance to live and do good. In the other, the same person believes that people who screw up big enough to kill someone intentionally and with malice aforethought have forfeited their right to live by their own actions. I would prefer it if those people would see the good in everyone, including murderers. I would also prefer it if a woman's right to choose extended to choosing contraception or abstinence. (From this, you will gather I support abortion in cases of rape).

Tough ?/ statement... I value both views and see the merit(s) in both... even as the Bible states we are to take care of our own bodies... the ultimate choice for a woman that is carrying a baby is the mothers choice whether to go full term or end the child's life... I also believe that the child is a living being (human being) at the moment of conception, however the decision for life is not the child's choice

**The Death Penalty...... the ultimate punishment imposed for murder or other capital offenses.... (Barron's Law Dictionary)
b. Murder: a common law offense of unlawful homicide; unlawful killings of another human being with malice aforethought. This requires a premeditated intent to kill plus an element of hatred...... (Barron's Law Dict.)
c. Murder: (n) The unlawful, malicious and intentional killing of one human being by another. 1. (v.t.) To kill (a human being) unlawfully and with deliberate malice. (F&W. Standard Dictionary.)
Abortion...... the premature termination of a pregnancy (Barron's Law Dictonary)
b. Abortion: The premature expulsion of a fetus. (F&W. Standard Dictionary).
Fetus: (n. pl) The individual organism after it's embroynic state but before birth. (F&W. Standard Dictionary). i.e., an unborn child.
Choice: (n) 1. The act of choosing; selection. 2. The right or priveledge of choosing; option. 5. An alternative.
---> ***Pro-Choice: (adj) The 'political' affiliation of those degenerated members of society who commit a crime of moral turpitude by presumputiously invoking the act of choosing the premeditated, unlawful, malicious and intentional killing of one human being by prematurely terminating a pregnancy.
In which case, due to presence of premeditation and "malice aforthought" in the premature expulsion of the fetus, the Death Penalty should be imposed.
*thinks* hmmm thats a good definition & sentence for it, ya like it? .....came up with that myself. *sighs* tis y i call me beans4brains........
Abortion takes an innocent life, the Death Penatly, a guilty.
A "Fetus" is innocent life, a convicted murderer, isn't.
.... you know, one could aruguably say, that every convicted murderer CHOSE to terminate the life of the victim, early, so....... why are they in prison? What about their right to choose? Its all the same thing, my friend.
*thinks* so.......... nah. it's the prinicple. I'd overturn Roe v Wade if i could, AND i'd enforce the death penalty in as many cases as applicable and permissible.

The "choice" should be left up to the woman and her body. No man has a right to express an opinion otherwise.

It makes me furious. If you don't believe in abortion that's your choice but don't impose it on others! Those rabid pro-lifers make me sick. Good point by the way about pro-lifers who are also pro-death penalty. Hypocrites.

Well, I don't get "made" over that, and I am not sure what "polititians are," but I do get mad when innocent children are killed.
