You can wirelessly chat with other people with a DS if you do have a DS. BUT, If you have a "ninja" card for the DS then you can chat on AIM and other chat clients, you can also download lots of games for emulators like the SNES and NES games, you can also connect wirelessly to the internet and browse all you want.

They run for about $40 and are very useful
