I generally like the idea of a boy's name for a girl, especially when paired with a feminine middle name, like Ryan Elise for example. I think it conveys strength - a good advantage for a little girl to have!

I love the name Cole but I like it better as a boys name.

I agree that Cole isnt the best name for a girl but if you want to go with a boys name Chris or Ryan are always cute for a girl too. Ohh and Riley is a nice girls name too. If you wanted to stick with the Cole Nicole is a pretty name.

actually, i think it's pretty cute!! For the first name, you could name her Nicole and nickname her Cole. But if you really like Cole, I suggest making just Cole the middle name and get a girly first name. =]

It's very masculine. I think it would be better to give her the name Nicole and use Cole as a nickname. That way, she can always revert to Nicole if she doesn't like being called by a boy's name. I've heard of a girl named Colee (Coley? Coleigh?), but to me that sounds like the name of the foam thing that people wrap around their beer cans to keep them cool.
If you *really* want a masculine name, maybe choose one that's masculine-sounding and feminine-looking:
Ryann/Ryanne
Jordanne
Jordyn
Kris
...or a name that's sort of in-between:
Hadley
Bryce
Haven

Why bother. There are lots of adorable girls names already.
Just name her Nicole and call her Cole. Not fond of Cole anyway, like Cole Slaw.
Maybe Codie, or Corie, Colleen, Collette......etc...
Colleen or Collette could also nn out to Cole.

i think cole is better for a boys name. but its nice to have an original name, so if you like it for a girl keep it :)
