Who would win in a battle? Pirates or Cavemen?

Question

Pirates with swords only and Cavemen including their clubs only.

No guns because that'd just be cheating ;) and the cavemen would get pissed.

both would be relentless but I think the cavemen would be more highly motivated and adaptable. Of course a lot depends on what they're fighting over. Cavemen would have no desire for pirate gold but might want the weapons and ships. Pirates wouldn't want the cave girls (unless they've been at sea a looooong time) but might want the caves as someplace to hide booty and themseves. The pirates would want to kill every single cave man women and child to keep their loot safe while the cavemen would only wish to chase the pirates out of their tribal lands.

both are savage, the pirates are more intelligent but cavemen have better hunting skills...after all, humans are just animals so the cavemen would win because of their hunting skills and brute force.

I believe that the Pirates would win against the Caveman, due the reason being that caveman were known to be stupid, and Pirates fight dirty and can be very treacherous.

Pirates weren't really known for using their swords that often. They usually prefered guns (you don't have to be so close to your enemy that way).
