The dry cleaner uses chemicals to clean your clothes, and a lot of these chemicals are linked to cancer. I don't think it's a good idea to dry clean your clothes often because you are exposing yourself to carcinogenic chemicals on a regular basis.
Also, getting in the car and driving to the dry cleaners, and then returning home, and then going back to the dry cleaners again at a later date is more work then just throwing them in the washing machine.
So...anyway, I know you probably meant that as a joke, but it really is kind of a dumb idea to bring your regular clothes to the dry cleaner, and no, I've never done it.

If I'm too lazy to stick the stuff in the washer, I'm damn sure too lazy to drive to the dry cleaner and then drive back later to pick it up. However, I have been known to go to Kohl's and buy a new pair of Levi's so I could put off doing laundry...

No. Doesn't it take more energy to bring your jeans and skivies to the dry cleaner and then have to pick them up?

No. I don't have a money tree in the back yard to pick clean for a drycleaning bill. Sorry. But I do drive around in an Infiniti FX! Priorities man, priorities. uh, we won't talk about the 3 properties I own though, okay?

No but my husband would send his work uniforms to the dry cleaners. As long as you are happy with them doing the laundry go for it.It may be cheaper to do the wash yourself though.

Yup. But I remember a time when I was so busy, not just lazy, when in order to get clean underwear - I had to BUY new ones!.
Besides, heavily starched jockeys chaff my hide!

No but I DO take all of our blouses and shirts to be pressed because I'm too lazy to iron. (Plus I'm not very good add it! :) ) Does that count?
