Of course it would depend on the individual deer. If you tried to group like opinions I would tend to believe:
*Some would think that they deserve that status and none other should interfer. These deer are probably older and grew up in a deer church, are submissive and believed all the pulpit propaganda
*Others think that it is unacceptable to think that these reindeer are magically better than all the rest. They are probably trying to change the status quo and forcing regular deer into the ranks by law, whether they have the ability or not.
*Although I tend to think that most of the deer are just apathetic and just amuse their day by complaining about it to others with no intention of trying to make any changes.
*Then there are those who will just disagree with whatever the opinion is of the deer who is speaking.

Regular deer probably don't care because they aren't reindeer and probably don't live at the north pole and couldn't survive there even if they wanted to.

Other reindeer not chosen for pulling the sleigh might think Santa's reindeer have it better since they are celebrities. Others might be happy they don't have to pull a fat man and a heavy sleigh around every year.

They must be thinking about how cool it is being free
and how sad they are that a fat guy like Santa entrapped and enslaved some cool deer. Then made em deliver toys to everyone but get none themselves.
They gotta dislike Santa

They are in awe--the status, the fine food, the sleigh fun, hanging out with a morbidly obese guy--all the "perks" They're signing up right and left for the next training class and necessary genetic adjustments for metamorphosing them in to a true reindeer--kind of like a sex change thing :))

How would YOU like to have to pull a sleigh all over the world in one night? It's freezing cold, the atmosphere is barely breathable, and the work is exhausting. If they had to do it more than once a year, it would kill them. Ordinary deer would rather be shot than have to do such work year after year until they die. All except Rudolph, that is. He's such a freak that he'd do anything to be part of a group, even guide a sleigh weighing millions of tons through fog and storm.

Regular reindeer are like the Sneech's in Dr. Seuss at odds with the Star Belly'd Sneech's (Santa's Reindeer). Oh, I've got a question I've got to post from this. Thanks.

Last I heard they were working with the cows and pigs to generate an advertising campaign hawking the heart healthy benefits of a diet substituting reindeer meat for beef, pork and of course venison.

I dont think they even care. If they did they might either be glad they dont have to do that once a year OR they might be jealous because Santa's deer aren't hunted.
