I noticed that he gets having a glazed look on his face then thing about himself stripping... whats that about?

I think its just a surreal moment or perhaps a sign of how he (the character) feels vulnerable. A bit like when other people have dreams about being naked in public!!!!

he went down in my estimations when i found he was on drugs and impregnating Courtney Love then denying it.
