It probably depends on what initially caused the Chinese actions. If it was a war initiating with Taiwan, North Korea, or Japan, for example, the Russians would not side with us. They would see it as an excellent opportunity to sell more weapons and supplies to the Chinese.
If it was a war started for resources, then Russia would probably be begging us to help. The greatest amount of untapped resources close to China lies to the north in Siberia. The Chinese have already sent hundred of thousands of immigrants to settle in these areas and the Chinese government has undoubtedly prepared plans for either a military or economic takeover of the area.

Doubt it. They are neighbors with similar styles of governance.
The poster beneath is dreaming in thinking that China couldn't wax the floor with the US. Just take a look at what a 25 million, no military country called Iraq is currently doing.
A good fighter does NOT view his enemy with arrogance, but respect. It is this same arrogance that has allowed so-called Iraqi "insurgents" to make the US look so foolish in the eyes of the world.

Are you serious ? These two are practically in bed with one another when it comes to having an aggression pact against the US. They should both hope the US is around for a long, long time, because if the US is ever out of the picture, you can bet the two of them would turn on each other, in a heartbeat !

they would stroll along and kick both the chinese and americans asses
