Just curious. Ok, I am having a moment. It will pass, but, it is still a moment none the less.

I would normally be on that board except my kids are somewhat driving me nuts this afternoon.
But point well taken - and don't necessarily allow those moments to pass.

I'm on that board. Married 7 years, with one 5 year old. You know why people don't stay together, because when it gets tough they walk out. People get married with their fantasies but when real life sets in....OOPS they are out the doors..
I am 45 years old and believe me even though I got married at 37 ( first marriage I might ad ) believe me it hasn't been easy. BUT you have to be willing to work things out, get the good and the bad and make sacrifices. I think these days too many couples are out for themselves and the heck with the spouse.
So I'm not going anywhere, my husband and I have our ups and downs but we work everything out before we go to bed...
We have fun together, work together and are together more than any couple I know, since we have no other family around, just friends.
So be proud if you have a good marriage, not all of them end in divorce.

Awww. That is really nice. It's good to hear that some people have happy lives. I am married too. I have been for 10 years. I don't have kiddies but I am proud of my marriage and most importantly of my husband. We got married young and I've watched him grow into a loving wonderful man.
Ignore all the nasties on here. You're happy, they're not. Be happy! A happy marriage is hard work so be proud of it!

I'm married with two grown children and 7 grandchildren. Married to the same person for 37 years and still happy. So is he by the way. Happy I mean. haha

If you'd asked a year ago I would have been there. But just after my 25th anniversary he left me for somebody else. So now I'm in the "Alone With Children" section.

I think I have seen plenty of happily married parents on here. I think most just don't want to rub it in someone's face who isn't having such a great time of things.

I used to belong to that board...but then my husband dumped me for some skag after 24 years.
