Someone try to name one person on the falcons offense, besides vick, that is a playmaker. That's why Vick struggles because he has no one that he can depend on to make a play for him. They come after vick because the other team knows that nobody else on the falcons roster can beat them if they shut vick down.

i am not sure where you got your stats from. go to atlantafalcons.com. he has never thrown for over 3000 yards and he has completed less then 50% of his passes for his career. look up the stats next time.

Vick- can be exciting to watch at times, but he's only average. Check his stats. Sure he has more TDs then interceptions. He might throw for 3 TDs in a game and then on the final drive, vlutch time he decides to throw his first interception of the game and it costs his team as much. An average qb on a team with a below average defense, not gonna get you far. 100 million dollar contract? All I can say is someone got ripped off badly. Put a sorry qb in there and spend all that extra money on a defense. Just look at the Bears. Case in point.

Vick's career stats after 5 years in the league are
955 attempts
512 completions
53.6% completions
6,619yds
36 TDs
26 INTs
76.9 QB Rating.
These are not impressive stats for someone that is suppose to as great as everyone says he is. There are qbs in the league who have stats like that after 1 yr and it has taken Vick 5yrs to reach this point.

I don't know where you got your stats from, but Vick only had 204 completions last year and has never thrown for 3,000 yards. He had 3513 total yards last year (rushing and passing) but only threw for 2474 yards and only had 22 total TDs. 12 of those TDs came in 3 games and he went 6 games last year without a TD. By the way, he was sacked 45 times and only had a QB rating of 75.7. The stats aren't that good when you use the real ones and not ones you made up out of thin air.

The thing about Micheal Vick is that he not the prototype qb that teams crave. He's an athlete and a playmaker. It's sort of like in high school football teams where the best athlete place qb because thats where he can have the ball in his hand the most. It would also help if Atlanta would get him recievers instead of having to rely on Alge Crumpler.

Vick is a good quarterback. People say he's not good because he doesn't pass the ball instead he will run. If he wanted to run so much he should've been a running back. Still Vick is a good Quarterback. Also another reason why people say he is a bad QB is because of the other stuff he does besides playing football such as dog fightes and other stupid stuff.

in my opinion it is not that Mike is a bad qb..he is an incomplete qb,
he doesn't help the Offense in the manner of being able to run a game plan. Coaches like to script their plays..the teams that win it all..all do it..as a matter of fact Atlanta is the only one around that puts the ball in his hands and expect the qb to run and pick his places instead of following a lead blocker.
I know scrambling is his best skill..but..he just hasn't had the discipline to be a pocket passer.

he is more of a RB than a QB. he does have a strong arm, but his throws arent consistent. theres no way his completion % is that high. and he has been in the league for 6-7 years and still has yet to do anything significant besides beating GB that 1 time. plus he is a jerk. he flips off his own fans and is involved in dog fighting.
