my car is shifting kind of hard and acts like it doesnt really want to shift sometimes so i wanted to check the transmission fluid only i cant find it under the hood anywhere??

The end of thr trans. fluid stick is wellow or red and located near the firewall somewhat burried near the power brake booster.

you can google your make and model of vehicle, use the VIN number located in the front of your windsheild on the dash, to be exact. likely you will find a website, i.e. chiltons and haynes that will have diagrams to show you where the dipstick is. pay close attention to any advice on these sites as some vehicles require the engine to be running and someone in the driver seat with the brake on to attain a proper reading!

red end on the dipstick back by the firewall. fluid should be nice and red also and not smell burnt
