How do you achieve the dark smokey eye like Avril Lavigne?

Put dark eyeliner on both top and bottom of your eyes. Then smudge it. After that, take black eyeshadow and put it along the edgeof your top eyelid. Then switch to gray above theblack, then white above the gray. Good luck!

I apply my eyeshadow to my lid like normal, use some dark eyeshadow on my lower lash line and a dark pencil of the same color. That way your eyeliner doesn't run down your face. Oh! Don't forget black mascara!

to do this...

take black eyeliner and put it under ur eyes and above and smudge it so its a nice thick line then put a semi dark [like a grey color] eyeshadow over on the top up to the little crease then put on a lot of mascara on upper and lower lashes

the main secret is eyeliner. use lots of eyeliner on the bottom or your eyes and a grey or black shadow on your lids. add a little masacra for a more dramatic look.
