Does this statistic sound bloated, about normal or underestimates the behaviour of the people you know?

For those who asked the statistic showed a result of an average of 3 partners in the case of women.
And yes, it is total number of partners throughout their entire lives in both cases.

Wilt Chamberlain through the whole thing out of kilter.... he has had thousands of women..... the rest of us...not so many...lol. Personally I have only had 3. But I do have a friend that is in the hundreds....but then he never married and chases women as a career.

Depends what age I would imagine. I keep tabs on all my hits so here they go: I'm 28. I'll start from 16, where it all started....
In high school it was 4. College: 63. After college; first job overseas: 7. Been back one year with a girlfriend so: 1. I have had actual 75 intercourse. Outer course I don't count but if you do I'm pretty sure that would put me over 100.
This, I feel is normal for a regular, good personality, good looking guy. I've had friends who do more!
College was the real playing ground. You figure parties every weekend, bars-one night stands averaging 3-5 per month for 3 yrs adds up-thanks god i tallied it all! i always tried to take a pic too for my scrap book! I only have about 30 though :(

15 is low ball'n it. In this age of sexually explicit videos and music, 15 sex partners are exceeded prior to high school graduation. What a shame, but true. During college days, my roomates kept tally of all the women they would sleep with during the semester. They each averaged about 17 different girls per semester. Needless to say, that game continued until we graduated. Do the numbers.

I am well over that number three fold! So it actually sounds low to me! Of course there are people who have only been with one person their whole life (those poor people!) and that would bring the number down.

Definitely bloated. Men over exaggerate about there sex partners just like woman under exaggerate.

Honestly, most of my close guy friends in college had been with 20+ girls. 1 in 3 sounds really low to me.

Before she left my first wife told me I had done every whore in town. I told her our town wasn't so big so then I moved to Baltimore. After that I stopped counting. A hundred doesn't really sound like a big number.

Here is the thing about statistics we can make them say what ever we want. For example does it say who was surveyed? Of coarse not. They could be surveying Nymphos Anonymous we don't know.

I've had sex with like 3 women.. I'd say it's an inflated statistic.
