what is this your algebra homework that you don't want to do on your own? Great idea! I wish I had time to answer them for you.

In all the single variable problems all you have to do is group all the 'x' together and all the constants together and use regular algebra. For example, in the 1st problem
8x-5x = 15
(8-5)x = 15
3x = 15
x = 15/3 = 5
Another example, in problem 5
-5x + 4(2x - 2) = 1
-5x + 4(2x) - 4 (2) = 1
-5x + 8x -8 = 1
(-5 + 8)x = 1 + 8
3x = 9
x = 3
Similarly solve all the other problems.

These are quite simple.

1) 8x - 5x = 15 -------> add 8x and 5x

3x = 15 --------> divide 15 by three

x = 5

Now just apply the same concept to all of them. Remember PEMDAS to do things in the right order.

p = parentheses
e = exponents
m = multiplication
d = division
a = addition
s = subtraction
