at what lvl does onyx evolve at to steelix??? in pokemon crystal?

You've got to trade it holding metal coat at any level. =)

It evolves only if you trade Onix w/ metal coat.

u have to have onix equipped with steel coat or something like that, then trade it to your friend to make it evolve.
