7 figures would mean they make 1 million to 9,999,999/year

8 figures would mean they make 10,000,000 up to 99,999,999/year

So someone who earns $100,000 would have a six-figure income

Then someone who earns $10,000,000 would be 8-figure.

For example, if you make 6 figures = $125,000. If you make 8 figures then it's $12,234,890 a year. I just threw in random numbers but that's so you'd understand what I mean.
