1st of all Michael Redd has always been a great shooter from his college days at Ohio State, but to answer your question, Magic Johnson, Dan Marley, and Karl Malone comes to mind.

Michael Redd popped into my head right away. How about Tony Parker? Bruce Bowen too... he's clutch from 3 point land, and he shoots a good percentage from outside as well.

Michael Finley. Many teams passed on him because of his shooting. He became a great scorer in his prime when he was with the Mavs.

Also Andres Nocioni was a horrible shooter (around 25% from 3pt) his rookie year, and then he became one of the league leaders at almost 40%.

Jordan couldn't hit a 3 to save his life when he first came up...shot under 20% for his first few years...

He finally did develop a good 3 point shot...after they moved the line in for him.

Also, Jason Kidd was a horrible shooter when he came up...now he's...oh, wait...he's still a horrible shooter...never mind..

Jordan developed his fadeaway when he's knees couldnt hold him up for his dunks. John Havlicek was originally brought in as a defender for the Celtics but developed a shooting touch necessitated by his constant motion-style of play.

tony Parker is a good example. He couldnt shoot to save his life but now he has a pretty decent mid range shot.
