My boss is hated at my job. The other day I was working and she asked me if I was interested in going on a vacation because she has always considered me a friend. I thought it was weird but then a co-worker told me that the boss burned so many bridges with people, she is looking for allies. I felt strange about it cuz she betrayed a lot of people and is totally for herself. What should be made of this??

I would not go if I were you. Mixing work and pleasure will eventually turn bad, one way or another. Though she may be a friend, she is also your boss. Apparently she likes to burn bridges, so how's it going to be when she burns the bridge she has with you?

Probably not a good idea.
Does she want you for your body? There's an opportunity, but then again, you're making more trouble that you need to when you get involved with your boss. Did she mention the sleeping arrangements?
If you haven't been buddies - you know, hanging out at the bar, going to dinner, barbeques, whatever - if this request comes out of the blue, then it's pretty odd. I would avoid it unless you're sure you'll get along.
Also consider that if you are considered in tight with a disliked boss, then you will have trouble getting along with your co-workers. That may be OK for a boss, but it's not great when you're just another peon. People will avoid talking to you or doing things involving you for fear you'll take stories back to the boss.
If you do get some relationship going and it falls apart, likely it'll be you looking for the new job. Best option, sleep with her and get some interesting photos of her to share with co-workers, ha ha or use in a sexual harrassment case.
If she's only looking out for herself, ask yourself what this is really all about?

Ooohhh sounds like a red flag, I mean let's be realistic here - what makes you different than any of the other employees? But come to think of it if she is such a bad person why does she still work there??
Anyway, never, ever mix business with pleasure - remember that old movie with Demi Moore and Michael Douglas where she sexually assaulted him in the office then denied it? You never know just stay away and be safe not sorry.

Then Buddy, plan to take off of work for a number of days, and make reservations. Go on vacation to Florida or any other warm location. Spend a lot of time tanning and working out, get your abs and beiseps in-shape. So when you go back to work, you can get everyones attention on how cool you are.
