Some shows on the strip are buy one get one or discounted with proof of valid i.d. Some casinos/resorts offer discounts for locals at the spa, again with valid i.d. The monorail sometimes gives FREE passes for LV area residents.

Not enough, the point thing only works if you gamble, and if you do win, eventually you will give it ALL back and then some. Really not the greatest place to live. All the shows are so ridiculously expensive, always over 100 per ticket, usually 200 per ticket!!! The cost of living is increasing rapidly, electric bills 300-500 per month!!! Because you HAVE to have the a/c on a lot. The summer is miserable, never under 100degrees, even at night in August. The school district is HORRIBLE, so I hope you do not have children. The job market is fair but wages do not mesh with the cost of living. really do some research before you move, and if you are drawn to gambling, do not come here, you will lose everything, I have seen so many of my friends lose their homes, savings, ect once the bug bites them, they chase the "win" right into bankruptcy.
Good luck

I can't stand Vegas. Don't move.

Casino comps:
Many casinos are starting to copy the Station Casino chain. Station casinos gives monthly dining coupons, weekly free gifts, and several other promotions. If you play table games, you will get free table play monthly.

Many local casinos also offer comps for cashing your check. Many people cash their check to get some points or a free T-shirt, or a free bet. Some lucky people can double their paycheck, win thousands of dollars or even six figures.

Several casino slot clubs in town offer multiple point days to locals that aren't available to tourists. Golden Nugget and Hard Rock are the 2 that come to mind. Also, at the off strip places that cater to locals, they will often send out mail offers for free play and food discounts that they dont send to out of towners.

they have casino club cards that you can sign up for and it's free, and you can always maximize it if you live here. that's why most VIP's in casinos are either big time rollers (tourists) or frequent gamblers (locals). they can send you coupons for free buffets, rooms. or even free merchandise. it's pretty neat! but it's true though, it's always better to go to off-Stip casinos coz they have better deals, and we locals do try to avoid the Strip as much as we can, unless we work there like I do... =(

Locals avoid the strip like the plague. I don't think the strip offers many incentives to locals, their target market is tourists.
