All depends where you live and what circles you travel in.

That qualifies as upper middle class, but your family may have liabilities that you aren't aware of, like a mortgage on your home, a lease on a car or time-share, etc.

Having money doesn't make you spoiled - not appreciating your good fortune would.

In the US, "average" is right around $45-46,000 a year. That should help put Dad's salary in perspective.

There is nothing wrong with being "spoiled", so long as you realize it!

That would be high / upper class. Salary doesn't determine if you are rich. Your debt-to-income ratio determines that. I know a doctor that makes 1 million a year and he lives paycheck to paycheck.

I live in the adirondacks in upstate ny. My mother makes around 45k a year. We live in a beautiful 5BR house with 2 bathrooms and a very nice large yard. The house goes for around 120 thousand. Combined with my father thats just under 100k a year. If thats just what your dad is making, I suggest he put you through college and you save up the money for your future.

Well, I think you should be in the upper class category...but if you aren't comfortable up there...you can send me some of your family's money and move down to the average/middle class group!!

:)

That depends on how your parents manage and invest their money. That salary could put them in anything from dead broke to wealthy regardless if they're "humble".

Guess that would depend on where you live and what the cost of living is there.
Where I am from, that is rich and I would give just about anything to make that kind of money!

That definitely is in the upper income bracket. They are fortunate. People make it on way less than that because they have to. Be thankful, which I KNOW you are by the way you worded your question...
