In the U.S. you can have your surgery and work out a payment plan with the hospital or apply for Medicare/Medicaid so you can have free medical. Ask your doctor and the hosptial where you are to have your surgery to help you with this. They have people that will assist you. There are ways to get free medical attention, especially since you need surgery. I certainly hope you get the medical attention that you require, and get well soon.

Yes, there are social programs that may be able to help. The hospital billing department should be able to offer you some guidance regarding what programs may be available in your area. I know that Social Security helped my friend out when he was in college and came down with a nasty virus and he had to be hospitalized for a week.

I would call the hospital you are planning on going to. Hospitals have special programs that help people when they dont have much money or insurance. They put you on payment plans

through your state, they have medical assistance, surgery is a big thing. a lot of women use it when they have a baby. go up to your local county office and inquire about applying
