I have an e mail account that I use only when a site requires me to register to access it. (some newspapers do this, as do other sites) The day after I set the account up, before I had used the address anywhere, I started getting spam! In one week I got 57 e-mails offering me porn, male enhancement, and great and wondrous business opportunities.
Some had the name I listed when I signed up for the e-mail.
I used the name "Noneya Business" (as in None of Your Business) and at least 25% of the spam was had some version of that name!
Mark most likely did not visit those sites!

Start Internet explorer, click on tools, click on internet options, click browsing history, click settings, click view files.
Those are the internet sites that your computer has been visiting.
If the cache (history dates) are very short, then: internet explorer, tools, internet options, browsing history, settings, then you increase cache size to large. Then check them in a week.
If the history cache is missing entirely, someone deleted it T to keep it a secret. If this is the way to keep you ignorant, then do: start, search, all files and folders, modified--check specify dates, change the word 'modified' to 'created', change the 'from date' to 3 months ago or so...leave the end date as today, click on the search button. All files downloaded will show up on this list.
If nothing shows up, look for a program such as "window washer". That's how computers are "cleaned".
Yes, people will get spam emails, including porn, that have never visited porn sites.
But the type of spam emails is proportionally related to the type of sites that they visit, and have created a login. That they know the name "Mark" gives you the sure clue that Mark visited some type of sites related to the emails, if not the exact sites in the emails, UNLESS the name Mark is in his email address, in which case there are programs that search and compile lists of email addresses.
But mostly...These sites do sometimes share information, but they share with sites that are RELATED IN TOPIC, in order to increase sales. It makes sense to market to people who may visit similar sites.

Chances are that your e-mail address has been entered somewhere (not necessarily a porn site), and has since been sold across multiple mailing lists.
His name is probably the one that the Operating System is registered to and appears alongside your IP address whenever you visit a website. It can therefore be connected to an entered email address and sold along with it.
Just set up spam filters and custom filters to divert such email directly into your trash can.

Check your computers history... that's usually the best place to start. Its possible that some other sites that you have been on have snaked your name and email info. Or you or your husband might have signed up for info from one site, and they sold your email address to a porn site.

sure, he's been viewing porn. they don't purely push that stuff in mail packing containers, quite because of the fact there is plenty junk mail protection on emails as we communicate. Does your digital mail handle get fairly some x-rated junk mail? I guess it would not. be careful because of the fact I dated a guy that replaced into hooked on porn and it grew to become out he replaced into going to strip golf equipment all the time in the back of my decrease back and, some think of, replaced into traveling hookers. there's a severe situation with internet porn and porn habit recently. It somewhat sucks. i could set up a keylogger software to checklist each key typed on the laptop. you will locate out that way. a number of it somewhat is junk mail, nevertheless.

If the history doesn't have any evidence of him visiting those sites and you are sure he has not, the other potential is that someone he knows has signed him up to get spammed purposefully. It could be a joke, or a revenge thing, who knows.

It is just spam, I get them too. Those sites buy your e-mail from other reputable servicers. Then you get e-mails for various things.
