I am a junior and I would have to say that there are a few soundtracks that definitely describe high school but so far the one i think that works best is:

Start out with stuff from Alice in Chains Dirt, Move onto stuff from Louder Than Bombs (though it's my least favorite Smith's album it says it better). Then towards the end of high school I started feeling it more and you could end with stuff like the Kids Soundtrack, Pavement's Wowwie Zowie, some Sonic Youth. But mix in a little Sebadoh (I was still kind of a drag and nobody says teenager whos lonely quite like Lou Barlow). You could end it with Advice For the Graduate by the Silver Jews.

"Animal house", 1976 film by national lampoon. Our 1980 yearbook has the distinction have having the only anti school inside cover art of any in the USA. My best friend drew a picutre of our school with broken windows, on fire, and the 8 guys of our class who hung out together, standing out in front, blurry eyed, drinking berer, standing on or next to our cars. pure anarchy! It's the most popular yearbook in the schools library, and when I go back home and talk to friends kids or my nephew or nieces, they all say "your in that yearbook!", you wrote that thing about the lunch line and the dead bodies etc, and that picure! that is too cool!!!" so the only soundtrack would have to be Animal house, we lived it, and even got it in the year book,
