If you want a lady to respect you, then you better know that forbidding her to do something is completely out of order, if you tell her that you are uncomfortable with her getting one, that is one thing, but if you think that you are going to forbid her to do something, then you have obviously lost your mind, I have a tongue ring, and have had no complaints, if you don't want something to be taken away from you, then I suggest you rethink all of that forbidding stuff.

I wouldn't allow myself the displeasure of a tongue ring, nose ring or any other ring that makes me look like a heathen. Come on now Sandstorm, there are some of us that have some good sense. A person with a a good sense of morals and judgment doesn't have to be forbidden anything.

My old man would never have to forbid me to do anything - we have an understanding. Loving someone means never having to forbid! And if I really wanted a tongue ring he would be fine with it.

If you ever stay in a relationship long enough to have children you can tell them that you 'forbid' something like that. I agree with you that there's really no point in getting a tongue piercing, but you're a f*cking asshole for thinking you have any right to tell the woman you're with that she can't make her own decision about it.

hahaha my bf doesn't care ... we've gotten piercings together .... all i have is nose, lip , belly button and 5 in the ears .... he has eyebrow & lip & still getting a few more ...... im prolly gonna get my tongue done when he gets his eyebrow done twice more which is soon :)
