I am in a drama group and we are putting on a production of Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat.

I am in charge of costumes and I also play the title role of Joseph so I am looking for copy of Joseph` dreamcoat based on either Phillip Schofield`s or Donny Osmond`s.

Also I am looking for a white loincloth that goes around the waist covers my bits and butt and has a long front bit.

A copy of the one that Donny osmond was wearing would be fine. Can anybody help with this.

The production is happening in Inverness on the 21st of August.

Rent it from a costume shop or call local theatres to see if they have one they will loan you. Most theatres have done the show a few times in the last 15 years. If they don't have the coat, they've rented it from somewhere! :-)

Good luck!

Wow, that is an amazing musical. I loved it!

But, you should just find a long robe and have people stitch pieces of colorful fabrics on it, add some glitter and BOOM you have your dreamcoat. It was done like this in the production I saw and I thought it looked amazing!

Look around shops. There's got to be a colorful coat somewhere! Or I would try looking on ebay. You can find anything there these days. Or try making it on your own. Do you know anyone who can sew or someone very crafty? Hope this helped, good luck!

I think you should just go to Down Town L.A. and buy scraps of all the colors and sew them together and then you will have your technicolor dreamcoat. It is easier than you might think.

-good luck!

It's hard to say; it's never easy to find a coat that's red and yellow and green and brown and scarlet and black and ocher and peach and ruby and olive and violet and fawn and lilac and gold and chocolate and mauve
cream and crimson and silver and rose
and azure and lemon and russet and grey
and purple and white and pink and orange
and blue.

it might be easier to go to a fabric store, buy the end of rolls and then get a robe, coat from the good will, then stick the fabbric to the coat.
