I think that no one should care what other mom's do. I know a mom who doesnt smoke and her children are not taking care of as expected. But the pothead, her house is **** n span , children always clean and in school. I can go on and on, I think its just how good the mom's parenting skills are.

A mother who gets "High" is worst than her kids,who get high. Parents are suppose to set examples for their children. Teach them right from wrong. Smoking Pot shows your kids it's ok to get stoned,and think your problems will all go away. If it's pleasure,then I'm sure there are lots of things an adult can do,without getting high,and one of them is "Not too!"

As long as she doesn't do it around her kids, and doesn't do it when she should be taking care of them, no...I guess it's not wrong.
If she smokes first thing in the morning and makes them cook their own breakfast, buys the cheapest of the cheap food so she'll have more money for drugs, drives them around while under the influence, etc. then yes--that's VERY wrong.
Basically, if she gets the kids in bed and smokes a little to relax, that's okay I guess.

Marijuana is very effective in the treatment of certain medical conditions such as: Glaucoma, Restless Leg Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. If you're using it for a medical reason, then it is no different than taking any other medication. Pot isn't bad for you as long as you use it wisely and only in a lawful and responsible manner (and if you keep it out of the reach of your children).

Yes, smoking pot is not exactly setting a good example as a rolemodel. Your kids will look up to you and I doubt you want your kids being druggies.

Yes, I do.
A mother needs to have and use good judgement and set a good example for her kids.
Pot...is just stupid.
It clouds your judgement and your ability to care for your kids and it's a little hard to set a good example for your kids if they find your stash or they end up visiting you in jail.
It's a little hard to teach your kids the importance of the laws when you are breaking them.

It all depends when, and how often you smoke it.
I personally think its ok as long as you don't smoke it around the children and only smoke it when your out alone with your friends.
Its not right to be high while taking care of your children though, as said earlier, its irresponsible and you can't take proper care of your children when your not all there.
I would suggest to try to lay off pot though, atleast until your kids get into their mid teen years...

Yep. Hard to be a good mom and watch the kids when you're high. Also sets a bad example. And finally, if the mom gets busted... who's going to take care of the kids then?

Yes. Children base their own actions off of parental behavior. If you act irresponsibly and do not take care of your body, they will follow in your footsteps and likely make bad choices as well.
What kind of example would you be setting?
