That joke would have been funnier if you were female Ian pet.

Like it was when I said the exact same thing when I kept running into the newsagents for more batteries when I got my digital camera.

I got Ted, the newsagent a bit hot under the collar, I think.

Make sure that you use batteries such as Duracell. Then consider what drains the battery. If you have a mechanical zoom lens, then zooming in and out will drain the battery, Leaving the display of the last photo will drain the battery. Using the flash will drain the battery.

yes a battery powered camera only lasts about half an hour go for a rechargeable lithium battery powered one.

All new toys are the same. You play with them constantly, wearing the batteries continually. You'll have to get an electric supply going to it. Thats's what I did with my new toy.

I have the same problem.. I can never stay stocked enough in batteries for my toys...

I've probably bought duracell, the corporation, by now.

i know...its ridiculous...you need to get a camera with a lithium battery...they are brilliant.

on our holiday..my hubby used LOADS of batteries..he got really annoyed...all because he wouldn't listen when i told him what camera to buy...you see - the wife knows best!! lol!!

try some that are rechargable and made for cameras. they're kind of expensive, but you can recharge them so it will save you money in the long run. good luck.
