My friends name is grace. We use to call her gracie! But she doesnt want to be called that anymore! She is NOT a girly girl, she likes mostly any kind of music, she laughes alot!, and she make tons or jokes! (very funny ones!) She also ALWAYS has a smile on her face even if she is down in the dumps. She will make you feel better when you or down or sad.

well people call me Turtle and it was because of some stupid reason (i put a headband on my head and someone screamed out that i looks like a teenage mutant ninja turtle).. and it just stuck with me and i feel as if when people say turtle i turn around. so maybe something will happen that will stick with your friend. (I've actually had name since i was in 3rd grade and now I'm going to eight)

Call her Harley (after the Batman villain The Joker's female sidekick Harley Quinn - get it? Harlequin the jokester from Commedia Dell'Arte).
Sounds tough, has that "humorous" side (only if you know the origin), and yet is kinda creepy, like a chicklet who smiles ALL the time.
Just a suggestion.
Cheers.

Nicknames are hard to come up with. they ususally just evolve naturally. I like the name Gracie but only Gracie and/or her friends will be able to think of a good one for her. Since she is funny and outgoing, how about Mork?

Gracious!

Of a more 'complicated' nature, consider "Gracian" from the brilliant Jesuit monk Baltasar Gracian. Gracian was a seventeenth-century Spanish Jesuit philosopher and scholar. He wrote hundreds of aphorisms that reflect on success in life and how to achieve it. He was a counselor to kings and a very influential thinker in his day. Doesn't this sound like your wonderful friend Grace?

Best wishes.
